| Sporting Goods, Inc. started in business 27 years ago by a group of three families. The reason it was started was no store in the northwest suburbs could provide goods or services to our children. The ownership has changed to just one family and now the "kid" is running the store. SGI tries to be innovative: we were the first in the Minneapolis area to "lease" skates, a program designed for the growing feet. The program has been highly successful. SGI was one of the first to use the "Swing Analysis Computer" to help build a golf club that fits your swing. Truly a very highly technical way of building clubs. This too has been very successful. Over the years, SGI has tried with vigor to supply amatuer associations and park and recreation departments with good quality with very competitive prices. SGI has actively supported all the associations such as hockey, baseball, basketball, football, soccer and others. | ||
